“ Tried this place at a work event. I was extremely impressed. It's a creative spin on ice cream, like a hybrid between Bingsu and ice cream. Not too sweet, with a ton of fun flavors. It's perfect if you don't want a giant binsu that you want to share since the cups are made for individual cups, and they're all made to order so the texture is perfect and fresh and the toppings are customizable to make your ideal individual bingsu. Though it's a bit more sweet and creamy compared to bingsu so in my opinion toppings should be limited since the cream is already so flavorful and sweet. ”

The toppings are a bit pricey for what how much they give you, but yummy nevertheless. This does not feel as heavy as normal ice cream so it seems guilt free. I highly recommend giving this a try. I've never had anything quite like it before but I would definitely go back. “ I came to Powder (Shaved Snow) on a Tuesday night with a friend. Even though I like the blue and white aesthetic on their menu, it was a bit difficult for my friend and I to read. We ordered a regular sized Thai Tea Snow with waffle cookie crumbles and toasted marshmallows as our toppings. After receiving our order promptly along with a free postcard that I asked for, we sat down on the one bench available in this small location. The texture of the ice cream/shaved ice reminded me of my childhood days of trying some fresh snow in the winter. The "snow" was made in front of us, and it tasted quite fresh. After a filling dinner, my friend and I felt that one regular sized snow was good for the both of us. The thai tea flavor was not too sweet and also not too cold for an autumn night in SF. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone visiting this area! ”
